Position Overview:
As the Office Manager, you will oversee daily office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while providing direct support to the Operations Managers, who are actively restructuring the department. A key part of your role will involve guiding and managing office staff, ensuring they stay on track with their tasks and responsibilities, and fostering an environment of accountability. A strong focus on accounting, process improvement, and Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential. You will also conduct 1-on-1 coaching sessions with team members to support their development. This role requires someone with a well-rounded understanding of business and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide leadership and support to office staff, helping them stay focused and on task.
  • Manage accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budget tracking.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Conduct 1-on-1 coaching sessions with team members to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with various departments to improve overall business performance.
  • Handle administrative tasks and ensure office compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, or similar role, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.) is a high priority.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct coaching sessions and have meaningful 1-on-1 conversations.
  • A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of leading by example.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
